Undergraduate Student Researcher
Diego Espinoza has been a member of the Witwer Lab since May 2012. He is an undergraduate student at the Johns Hopkins University Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of the Arts in Mathematics. He expects to graduate in May 2015. His interests include biology, bioinformatics, computer science, and mathematics.
Diego’s current project is investigating the role of microRNAs in SIV infected and IFN-b treated macaque astrocytes, using microarray and next-gen sequencing technology.
